Our Website Development and Design Process

At The Blare Group, we teach people how to build websites themselves for free, but we understand that it can get complicated, or you just might not have enough time to do it yourself.

That’s where we come in. Though we are based out Lancaster, California, you do not have to be an Antelope Valley resident to get our services. We build WordPress websites for people with a voice who don’t know how to, or just don’t have the time to.

However, if you want to give it a shot, we will tell you the steps that we take when we create WordPress websites.

We offer five different packages that we believer can be valuable to anyone looking to get a cool, new website.

Regardless of the package you choose, we make every effort to make sure that your website is launched in 30 days or less.

Depending on your choice, your website will be custom built from the ground up, or to save some money, we will find a pre-made template to use. With this template, we will replace the content that was there as a placeholder with the content that you provide to us.

So, in the spirit of the Blare way, let’s keep this simple and quick.

Step One – Get a domain

We love Hover. Mainly because they focus on one thing–domains. If you are wanting to do this on your own, head over to Hover and purchase your domain, free privacy, and you can get an optional email account as well.

Step Two – Get Hosting

Okay, you have your domain, now let’s set up your WordPress hosting. We have several recommendations for your host, but of course we believe you should host your website with The Blare Group. Ultimately, the choice is yours.

If you select a Managed WordPress host, you don’t have to worry about installing WordPress because it will already come with it installed already.

Genesis Packages

Okay, those steps will be enough to get yours site live, but it will be blank. So, let’s fill it up with some content the Blare way by going over each package that we offer and how to get its features implemented onto your WordPress website.

Our most affordable packages are created with the use of WordPress themes that we purchase from Themeforest. However, you can choose to take the same route that we did, or get your theme from elsewhere.

You can conduct a simple Google search for a theme to find the one that suits you the best. For example, if you are a music producer, search for “music producer WordPress theme” and you will easily find what you need.

Mobile Responsive

Every website should be mobile responsive, that means designed for cell phones as well as desktop web browsers. There are several ways to complete this, and if you used a theme, it should have been done for you. Otherwise, you’re going to need some coding knowledge to get the job done.

Website Page

Every single website has at least one webpage. The page is what you’re looking at. The website is a combination of all of the webpages on the site.

From the WordPress dashboard, you can add a page by clicking on the “+” on the top of the page, or click pages in the sidemenu and then click on ‘Add Pages.”

Most websites have their logo somewhere on their site. Typically, you will find them in the top left corner somewhere, and you can get to the website’s home page by clicking on the logo.

To change your logo, click on Appearance in the WordPress dashboard, then select Customize. You can change your logo in the Site Identity menu.

Let us know if you don’t have a logo.

Your website will most likely need a few forms. Opinions vary on which form to use for your contact forms, newsletter forms, and however you want to collect data.

From the WordPress dashboard, select plugins, then click on add a new plugin. Next, search for form, or forms, and you will be met with a lot of options to choose from.

That’s basically the things that we add to every package, plus we make some modifications to the look of the WordPress dashboard, we share all completed sites on our social media platforms, and offer discounts on some of our products.

Now, we also have other packages and we are going to cover what’s in the Whisper package. You get everything that is in the Quiet package, but you can also do the following to create your own Blare Genesis Whisper Website Package…

Spam is almost guaranteed for all websites. To avoid those pesky emails and comments, we advise installing an antispam plugin like CleanTalk or AntiSpam Bee.

The other feature included in the Whisper Package is a robust search feature. You can also set this up with a plugin if you do not know of any other way to implement it.

Whisper comes with additional pages (minimum of four) along with the antispam and search features.

Let’s talk about Talk.

404 Page

A 404 page is the page that your site directs visitors to when they go to an invalid page or link.

Chat Bot

A ton of websites have a chat box hovering in the corner of their web pages, and we add them to websites for the clients you opt to purchase the Talk package from Blare Genesis.

We use Tidio for our websites.

Language Translation

You will probably have visitors to your site that prefer to enjoy your site in another language. So, it would be nice to have a language translation tool on your site.

Make it easy for search engines to crawl your website. A sitemap is a file that consists of your images, videos, posts, and more.

Google My Business

Google My Business (GMB) is free listing viewed by people that found your business on Google search, maps, and other Google services.

Do you have something to sell to your audience? You can use WooCommerce for free, or be like us and use Ecwid to set up your e-commerce store with WordPress. Products can be digital or physical.

Social Media Accounts

Don’t forget to connect your Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tik Tok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, or whatever social media accounts that you have. It’s a good idea to place links to your social media channels on your blog posts, contact pages, header and footer, and any other place that seems reasonable.

Reading your article has greatly helped me, and I agree with you. But I still have some questions. Can you help me? I will pay attention to your answer. thank you.
